Do you ever feel like a failure?
That was a question I posted inside the Studio at 11:30 p.m. on a Sunday.
Given the time, I didn’t expect much of a response, but within minutes I felt seen and understood.
We’re a small village of rebellious writers and storytellers, but we’re fiercely human first.
We swapped feelings, perspectives, and the kind of support that you need in your darkest hours, not just your productive ones.
I’ve built, changed, and reshaped the Studio so much over the past 18 months. I look outside and feel like I haven’t done enough to grow my “business.” And then I come back to the Studio, to the new home I’ve built with these wonderful souls, and I am reminded of how special our culture is.
Yes, we’re here to write, to swap stories, and keep each other accountable.
Yes, we show up, give feedback, and build each other up.
And yes, we’re a safe space for Rebels who just need a place to be.
Where there’s no competition, no need to be perfect, and no part of you that is ever too much.
So, each week until the end of June, I am going to invite 5 new Rebels to join our village.
Small and intentional because we’re only looking for the kinds of writers, creatives, and humans who care.
